stocking stuffers | A Guide For Him

With Christmas a mere day away many of us are already wrapping our gifts for our dear loved ones in pretty gift wrap and adding sparkly bows---but there may be a few stray babes wandering the shops still looking for that perfect gift for that special someone in their life. Well, worry no more because this gift guide is for YOU!

First, and foremost missy or mister don't get bummed out! There's a perfect gift for everyone and you're going to find it so you can let go of that unnecessary stress and breathe now! Men are typically pretty hard to sop for and it's not their fault either! There's a pretty limited selection to begin with especially if you're following marketing trends. You've got countless commercials screaming at you that every man wants a new video game or another bow tie that he probably won't wear until next year. And while video games and bow ties are great you may be looking around for something a little bit more special which is why yours truly has scoured the internet land for the sweetest stocking stuffers I could find to give you a little helping hand~

Let your special mister rock out to his favorite jams on this gorgeous vintage Marshall speakers. Not only do they sound nice , but they'll make a lovely addition to his room.

Do you have a Potter fan on your hands? The beautiful illustrated pages might swoop him away in nostalgia in the good ol' wizarding world of Harry Potter.

You can never go wrong with chocolates---especially this GIANT Ferrero Rocher~ He'll be in chocolate bliss for days~

Not only is this watch elegant, but the unique wood finish is stunning and one of a kind. Don't be surprised if he never takes it off.

This camera may be small, but boy does it pack a punch. This little guy will capture all his precious memories in a flash. Water & weather proof. No wonder they say good things come in small packages~

See, babes I totally have your backs~ I hope you snow angels get your last minute Christmas shopping done and don't you sweat it for a minute! I'm sure whatever you got your mister is perfect! Heck showering him with kisses is the perfect gift! This girl over here is still taking her sweet ol' time in single town so I may not be the most credible source, but I sure do want to help my babes out! Stay tuned a girl's guide is coming your way shortly~

Until then stay cozy and merry~

25 Things To Do Before Christmas | A Procrastinator's Guide

Wednesday, December 23, 2015

I swear that I've blinked December away. December 1st---blink---December 25th. What? When? Where---and how did this happen?! Before I know it I'll blink and be 25 raising 9.5 cat babies~ But, that's another story for another time! This is a little Christmas guide for any procrastinators like myself out there. Oh, you procrastinators---my people let's be real here are we really procrastinators? I think time just has a little thing against us. Is it really our fault that the internet and cats were invented---I mean there should be some liability warning you should sign, because once those two things enter your life kiss your work and responsibility goodbye~

I kid, kid~ We might be procrastinators, but we definitely have the Christmas spirit---cozy cardigans, hot chocolate, last minute Christmas shopping, and stealing a gingerbread man or two on the way. Bring forth the Christmas cheer and merriment!

25 Things To Do This Christmas

♡ Do Last Minute Christmas Shopping
With Christmas a few mere days away it can only mean one thing---last minute Christmas shopping. Stay away from online shopping and slip into your comfiest boots to hit up some of the local shops for the day. You'd be surprised, but here are still some hidden gems just waiting to be picked up for your loved ones. Well what are you waiting for? Hurry and get to it~

♡Drink Hot Chocolate
Whether you make it at home or you have your barista whip up your favorite concoction---hot chocolate is simply a must have during this time of the year. Don't forget the whipped cream and cute marshmallows.

♡Decorate A Gingerbread House
With all the cute gingerbread house kits around you literally have no excuse. My family and I are making our first gingerbread house ever on Christmas Eve---I'm equipped with an icing bag and gum drops. No one can stop me now~

♡Be A Secret Christmas Elf
There's no better feeling than helping your loved ones or even a stranger in need. Spruce up your roommates room, bake some sweets for a friend, or pay for someone's coffee. There's a whole lot of little things we can do that spread a whole LOT of Christmas cheer. It's the little things, right?

♡Cuddle Up In Cozy Blankets + Christmas Pajamas
After all that shopping and spreading the Christmas cheer you deserve to take it easy. Netflix and hot cocoa anyone?

♡Visit Your Local Church
It's easy to get swept up in the holiday chaos, but we shouldn't forget what Christmas is all about---JESUS~

♡Make A Gingerbread Scrub
Still looking for a few last minute gifts? This cute holiday themed sugar scrub would make an adorable gift or a great little treat to yourself~

♡Host A Christmas Movie Party
Nothing says Christmas more than a Christmas movie marathon cuddled up in your favorite pajamas with your closest friends~ Bring out the hot chocolate and holiday sweets and make a party out of it! I pinky promise it will be a hit~ Having trouble thinking of a theme? Check out this sweet get up and this movie list for some ideas.

♡Christmas Coloring
Call me childish or a kid at heart, but if you're having trouble getting in the Christmas spirit why not grab some art supplies and color that stress away. With this adult coloring craze there's limitless options to choose from. This Harry Potter coloring book is my favorite~ Don't have any extra money to spare? Check out these free coloring sheets

♡Wrap Up Presents
Tearing away at gift wrap may just be the best part about opening presents. There's so many cute gift wrap options at the store, but if gift wrap isn't your cup of tea there's so many different tutorials on how to make your own which are just as special!

♡Get A Christmas Manicure
Perk up, butter cup with a little Christmas manicure! You can treat yourself to the salon or get your home girls together and make a night out of it. Chat the night away about holiday plans and give each other the perfect manicure. Need some nail art ideas? Here are a few just to get you started. Whatever you decide to do your nail beds will be singing with the Christmas spirit!

♡Make Reindeer Chow
Whether it's for the reindeers outside or for your own tummy---this reindeer chow will make any tummy happy.

 ♡Decorate For The Holidays
A little late on decorating this year? Like way, way late? Well it's better late than never---here's some quick home decor ideas to make your home feel a little more festive.

♡Make Homemade Ornaments
Speaking of decorating---is your Christmas tree missing a little something? Why not have a go at making some special homemade ornaments. These cookie cutter ornaments are adorable and super easy to make!

♡Eat Rudolph Pancakes
These pancakes are just too adorable to resist! I'll have 20 please~

♡Write A Letter To Santa
No one is too old to write a letter to Santa. Maybe leave it out to give some loved ones a few hints. . .no list ever hurt no one! Well maybe the hit list. . .

♡Look At Christmas Lights
Take a drive around your neighborhood with family and friends to ooo and ahhh at the pretty Christmas lights. If your neighborhood hasn't embraced the Christmas spirit take a stroll around downtown to gaze at the lights and decorations. Don't forget to snap a photo or two to keep for memory lane!

♡Watch The Polar Express
I don't care if you've watched this movie a million times you're going to watch it again and again and again

♡Go To The Nutcracker
Seeing a live performance of the Nutcracker is supposed to be magical or at least I hear! Take your Christmas sweetheart or even whisk your best friend away to create a magical memory.

♡Write Christmas Letters
One of my favorite parts of Christmas is making Christmas cards---writing sweet heart warming messages for your loved ones will most definitely give you the warm fuzzies. Accompanied with the perfect and thoughtful gift you'll definitely be giving yourself a pat on the back this season.
Write away I say~

♡Read A Christmas Story By The Fire Place
Have any kiddos around? Siblings? Nieces or nephews? Or maybe kids of your own? Reading them a little Christmas story by the fire place or cuddled up on the couch might be one of the most magical things you do this whole year. Seeing their eyes light up in wonderment is priceless. I recommend the good ol' classic Twas The Night Before Christmas

♡Give Those In Need
One of the best ways to spread Christmas cheer is donating to those in need. There are so many food and toy drives going around this time of year. You could be the reason someone smiles this holiday season.

♡Listen To Christmas Music
Fill your house with Christmas cheers with some good ol' Christmas carols. Rock out to jingle bells and Rudolph the red nosed reindeer and before you know it you'll be as excited as a kid on Christmas Eve. Here's a list of some good ol' classics to get your Christmas groove on~

♡Bake Christmas Cookies For Santa
Don't forget about jolly Saint Nick and bake him your best cookies. Don't worry---no one will judge you if you steal one or two for yourself~

♡Have A Mery Jolly Christmas
Must I explain?

I hope you snow babes enjoyed this post and I was able to inspire you to get some last minute Christmas things checked off your list~ And, don't worry I checked you're on the good list. Santa said he'll let that one thing go so you don't have to sweat it no more, okay. Sending you babes so much love and peppermint bark your way this Christmas~

Donut Worry

Monday, December 21, 2015

Donut worry, babes---I have arised from the dead yet again. Ten thousand words, thirty five pages, and a whole lot of crying and head banging on a keyboard wondering if knocking myself out would be a reasonable excuse to get out of writing monstrous term papers. But, it's not all bitter reminiscent vibes because I can finally say hello to my babes again~ If you haven't taken a notice I'm talking about you! As Adele would say---Hello it's me~ I was wondering after all these years if you'd like to meet~ Excuse all the horrendous run on sentences by the way, but your home girl here is lucky to be writing in coherent thoughts.

I can't wait to get back to blogging again for you all and just catch up with all you babes! I hope my snow babes are staying cozy this winter. You all better be in the Christmas spirit, because I've got so many holiday themed posts coming your way~ But, with Christmas a few days away (eeep!) I have no idea how I'm going to get all the posts up in time. I'll just have to cross my fingers and wish upon a Christmas star!

Well that's it for today! Just a little crazy blogger's ramble. Nothing unusual---so move along, move along. Stay cozy for me babes and eat a whole lot of donuts, because God knows I want to eat a million of them right about now~

Wondering where I got these cute donut printables?
Get them here!

♡My First YouTube Video♡

Friday, November 27, 2015

You'll never guess who's just decided to join the YouTube community? Well you probably have, but I'm going to pretend for a moment that you haven't. As the title has implied yours truly has decided to swim over to the vast realm know as YouTube. I know this all seems out of the blue, but it's something I've been wanting to do for quite a while---in fact I've filmed this video months ago! What stopped me from showing you beauties sooner? Well if I'm speaking honestly---nothing other than my pesky perfectionism. If you aren't too familiar with YouTube it's a fast growing and competitive industry where people all around the world are posting videos for others entertainment. Mind you these videos are of brilliant quality whether they be from the sea of famous vloggers or new Youtubers hoping to start a channel of their own---it's no wonder I'm a tad bit intimidated by it all. But, it's about time I begrudgingly push my perfectionist ways to the side and allow myself to once create something without any strings attached.

So babes I abide it's time I welcome you to my little video about a silly girl who chases daydreams and fishes for stars. I hope you don't mind the blurriness I have no idea how to get rid of them---they appeared once I uploaded the video to YouTube. The best fix is to watch the video in 1080!
Do you babes have any tips and tricks for me? I'll love you forever if you can tell me how to get rid of blurriness and subscribe to me.
Don't worry if you can't I still love you~

Oh, and about blogging don't you worry your pretty little head I'm not going anywhere~

Tuesday, November 24, 2015

Why hello my fluffy little marshmallows~

I mean how could I resist just look at how cute they are! Not only are these chocolate coated sweets pretty to look at they're super yummy too and mind you this is coming from a marshmallow hater! The melted chocolate compliment the gooey insides of the white spun sugar brilliantly. I'm talking melt in your mouth type of good! Oh, and the toppings are just an added bonus. If that hasn't got your mouth watering I don't know what will! To the one's who've created a drool puddle at their desk don't worry your marshmallow tushy one easy recipe coming right up~

5. Nom nom nom

What do you babes think? Cutest and easiest recipe in the world, right? Pow Pow is officially a marshmallow lover~

Any marshmallow lovers out there?

Before you say it---I swear I haven't been cat napping on the job! Double pinky swears---cross my heart and hope to die~ Term papers have stolen yours truly, but I seem to have broken free for a day or two and what better way to spend my day than hang out with my blogging babes! Although, I'll admit a little cat nap sounds really appealing right about now. Speaking of cat naps I realized I've never properly introduced you to my darling little kitty---Pow Pow---a.k.a. the cutest and most cunning little fluff ball you'll ever meet~

The Too Faced Wishlist

A Too Faced Wishlist

With the holidays quickly approaching us spending bans are quickly becoming history as all the different makeup brands begin lining the shelves with their pretty holiday collections. I've particularly got my eyes set on no other than---Too Faced~ From their heart strikingly adorable packaging to their die for buttery eye shadows it's no shocker that they've caught my eye and heart. Spending ban or no spending ban this girl over here is already stocking up on her wish lists for poor ol' Mr. Claus~

After falling in love with Too Faced Sweet Heart Blush it's only time before I get my grubby little hands on this beauty~ Justify My Love is such a pretty fairy tale pink that the apple of my cheeks are screaming the injustice that I'd commit if I don't put this blusher in my shopping basket.

And did you see those bunnies?! I can't resist!
I just can't~

This too pretty for words eye shadow pallet literally smells like chocolate. Chocolate. How can you expect someone like me to turn something like that down. I mean who am I to say no to an eye shadow pallet crafted by the heavens?

Um, okay I'll admit the name of this mascara is a tad dicey if I'm stating it lightly and let's be real---it's hella awkward asking a sales associate, but after seeing a lot of you babes rave about this mascara I'm convinced. I'm ready to up my eye lash game~

The shades in this collection are flawless---from day time makeup to a sexy night out in town this eye shadow palette can do it all. Oh and the packaging---just darling!
I just can't wait to call it mine~

If a bronzer could take my breath away this one definitely did. While this snow bunny lives in Florida glowing skin never goes out of style~ Pale ghost to winter goddess coming right up.

Are you babes a Too Faced lover too?

Wow. . . I swear I'm not trying to instigate a lover's quarrel.
This make up brand can get a girl in a lot of trouble. . .

Cookie Thief

Tuesday, November 3, 2015

I admit it! These cookies came out of a box. The box where the cookie dough comes out in perfect pre-cut circles just waiting for you to turn on your oven so you can regret twenty minutes later the chocolatey goodness you just consumed. Yeah---that kind of box. Before you yell at me---I swear I tried! I gave it my all before I resorted to breaking the one and only baker's commandment---Thou shall not bake anything that comes out of a box. But, I couldn't help it okay?! I wanted something sweet! Something that did not involve getting flour all over my face and splattering egg yolks on the wall (Don't judge.). Plus, they came out really pretty and I wanted to show you, guys! Is that such a bad crime? The baking police don't have to know do they?! It can be our little secret---we box cookie bakers got each other's backs, right?
Well if you don't have my back then guess what?! No cookies for you~

Okay, okay all joking aside I just thought the photos came out really pretty. Hey, who's going to say no to double fudge brownie cookies (yeah, I said double fudge.)---even if the so called cookies came out of a box. But, they're cookies none the less! With the holidays fast approaching lots of shops have been releasing limited edition sweets that you can pop in the oven and bake yourself mess free. I just couldn't help myself---especially when those cunning marketing folks pull me in by stating these flavors are limited edition. It's like they're giving me no choice! Although, nothing beats home made sometimes I need a little help here and there to get my sweet fix. The season of sweet treats quickly approaches us~

Do I have any baking babes out there? Do you believe in home made or the highway or are you like me who doesn't mind indulging in the forbidden box once in a while?

Oh, and if you were wondering---yes, I ate more cookies than I should have.
Not ashamed.

A NARS Convert | The Holy Grail Foundation

Friday, October 30, 2015

Hello, you lovely lot~

Well, well, well---what do we have here? A beauty post?  Beauty posts haven't seen the light of day around this part of the internet in a loooooooong time, but hey lets all roll with the punches and ignore that bit, okay? Okay. Glad we could reach to an agreement, because I have a huge announcement to make. *dramatic pause* Guys, I'm a NARS covert---okay, maybe it wasn't the hugest announcement, but it was an announcement none the less!

Every little part of me that used to roll my eyes at you beauty bloggers waving your pretty little jars of NARS foundation all about like it was the greatest thing invented since sliced bread---I now frantically wave back and say "I surrender, I surrender"! Yes, my darlings this little jar of foundation (a $60 lethal wound to your wallet if I might properly add!) is as amazingly wonderful as they say! A double pinky promise with a cherry on top to ensure you my sincerity.

Not too long ago I used to be the one who thought---"Could that foundation really be all that?" The pretty little bottle with NARS enscripted on it's surface sounded like a foundation of miracle workers. It must be too good to be true, right? I mean I had every right to be critical---a whooping $60 was a hefty price to pay, but I'm here to say three months later it's worth every cent!

Maybe, if you've been here for a while you'll remember over the summer I was going through a skin nightmare (you can read the post here) due to the formula of the foundation I was using at the time. This skin catastrophe had me running in circles looking for a replacement to hide the disaster my face had become. Little ol' me strut straight into Sephora with my face demons and all---grabbed a bottle of NARS ALL DAY LUMINOUS WEIGHTLESS FOUNDATION---approached the nearest makeup artist and asked for a match. I patiently waited as I felt the makeup brushes dab and fuss at my skin---feeling extremely exposed to have someone so near my face without makeup, but what I saw in the mirror next stole every flush of embarrassment and underlying hesitance my body was cloaked in. My skin looked absolutely flawless. I was never too keen on my peaches-and-cream skin tone, but for once I felt like my pale skin possessed a beauty that I hadn't seen before---this foundation made my skin radiant and force me to see past the blemishes---but see me instead. It didn't take much longer for me to run over to the counter and fork over the contents of my wallet.

Three months later and my skin is still thanking me. I can not tell you, babes enough how beautiful this foundation is. The application is literally effortless---it slides on like silk and melts straight into you skin. Don't even get me started on the coverage---pump this baby 1-2 times tops and you'll have a flawless finish in minutes. When they said luminous they weren't joking---this foundation has such a pearlescent properties it leaves your skin looking like it's glowing within. Don't believe me? Watch some first impressions on this foundation in action you'll be running to the nearest NARS counter in no time---trust me. If my wallet could afford it all you babes would be NARS converts~

What foundation converts are you?

Pretty Things | A Mood Board

Saturday, October 24, 2015

Images via
Hello, my pastel goddesses~

I know mood boards don't have the best reputation in the blogging community and are often seen as cop out posts (a.k.a. lazy posts), but I don't think that's the case at all! In fact I really like mood boards~ I think they allow you a little glimpse into a blogger's mind. You know what I just realized how rude of myself---I haven't even properly invited you!
*opens a creaky door* Welcome to my mind~

Sprinkle donuts, cozy beds, frilly pajamas, over-sized cardigans, a dozen macaroons, and peter pan collars adorn this girl's mind~ As silly as it sounds images like this make me feel all cozy inside---inspired even! Although it may be impossible to quite literally peer into someone's mind---I'd like to think this is a fair representation of my current mood. . .a pastel fairyland with lots and lots of sweets~

What's been inspiring you, babes?

Baby Blue Dreams & Instax Cameras

Wednesday, October 21, 2015

This my babies is a camera crafted by the gods. Cue the music---hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujaaaaahhh~ I mean have any of you ever seen a camera this stinkin' cute?! This adorable pastel blue dream was a gift from my little brother---isn't he the sweetest?! He apparently owned it for a while, but thought buying the film was too much of a hassle so bippity boppity boo and this precious little camera got a new home. I was waiting till the holidays approached so I could purchase the little guy myself, but instead of coming to the camera the camera has come to me. That must mean it's destiny!
It's new owner couldn't be anymore happier---till death do us part~

Although, the film may cost an arm and a leg every photo you snap makes it that much more special. I can't wait to capture all the sweet memories with this little camera. There's just something so endearing and heart warming being able to hold your own photos. While the digital age continues to spread like wild fire---I hope that we never forget about the simple things in life like tamogotchis and peanut butter cookies---oh yeah, and photos of course! Capture your memories and hold them close to your heart~

Don't you just love how while I'm giving heart felt advice I somehow mention tamogotchis and cookies. . .there must be something seriously wrong with me. Not really just a little odd I suppose. . .

I'm so happy that I finally own a little instax camera that I can call mine~
Do any of you babes own a instax camera?
What memories do you capture?

Image via

Hello, my darlings~

*sighs drearily* I'll be up front and honest with you (like always!). . .it's been a no man's land around here lately hasn't it?! It absolutely kills me to say that. . .but I miss all of you bunches! I swear, I swear I do. I already see all of you rolling your pretty eyes. . ."Didn't she say this shmuck in her last post?". Uh, yeah I did, but I mean it from the bottom of my heart (watch the sass, Sylvia!). I MISS blogging! I love talking to each and everyone of you, babes---especially the handful of you that keep up with this crazy blog of mine~

I just miss writing for you beautiful, babes~ I can't believe I went from posting every other day to rarely posting at all. To my defense I've been going through quite a bit and for the LONGEST time I've been thinking of opening up to you all about these troubles, but I more than anything want to keep this place a happy place and I fear if I do open up I'd ruin that. Despite, whatever I'm going through I've arrived at an important decision. Like many of you already know I currently go to school pursuing my bachelors degree as a full time student. After I graduate instead of getting a job like my other classmates---I've decided to continue my education and get my Masters in Creative Writing. I know it might sound risky to some of you, but it's one step closer to my dream of becoming a writer~ That's really more than I could ever ask for.
You'll wish me luck won't you?

I still haven't addressed what's to happen to this little place have I? Well don't worry your pretty little self one bit---you hear me?! Big mama ain't going nowhere~ Is referring to myself as mama strange---don't worry I know it is.  Well you can blame yourself---I mean who wouldn't want to be the proud mama to beautiful babes like you. Maybe I should add that to my bio---proud mama to all the beautiful babes of the world. It's got a nice ring to it doesn't it?

I think we're getting side tracked here aren't we---mama's aside although I don't think I can currently go back to my original posting schedule (I WISH!) just yet I promise that I will try my very, very BEST to post as much as I can! You can expect some more fall content very soon *wink* *wink* Oh, yeah did you beauties know we're almost to 100 followers---we're so close I can taste it! Not that I taste my followers or anything. I mean wouldn't that be horrific to read about in the news papers---blogger eats followers for breakfast. But, just so you know if you are the 100th follower you should be well aware that you've made a girl in Florida super happy~ You can just add that to your list of accomplishments. Well that concludes this bloggers ramble.
See you beautiful babes very soon~
