A Black Christmas Eve???

Tuesday, December 31, 2013

Are those the sound of crickets I hear? Chirp~ Chirp~ Or is that just me? Just me? Maybe I should clean out my ears? Or maybe. . .maybe I'm not being loud enough? CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW FELLOW BLOG SAILERS? . . .ANYONE CARE FOR DONUTS? *clears throat* Haha well enough of that. Before I completely get off topic I just wanted to apologize for my absence. . .I'm beginning to feel under the weather, but don't you worry I'll be back on my own two feet in no time (Extra Vitamin C, anyone?)!  I just didn't want anyone to think I
abandoned this blog so quickly. . .I'm here to stay if you like it or not~ Being a pain in your butt now am I? Well that's what buddies are for

Now back to the post~ I know this seems late for "Christmas theme" related posts, but I really wanted to do a few and the time seems to just have slipped between my unrealizing fingers. I hope you don't mind!

Christmas Eve! It's a day where many of us are looking forward to spend quality time with our family and friends. A time "we" sip on too much eggnog(I surprisingly have never had eggnog before! Is it any good???) and wait for our beloved Santa to land on our roofs (Shhh! He's real, okay!). But it's also an evening where we take advantage to bust out our Christmas swag (Did I just say swag? Haha kill me now~) fashion wise of course.

I always see a lot of reds, sequins, and sparkles galore (don't forget the "ugly" Christmas sweaters!) this time of year, but I honestly wanted to do something different this year.
Annnd I came up with this. . .

I know this might seem a bit too "dark" for some people, but I honestly feel this is such a universal look that can be used for any occasion. Maybe this might just give you a little bit of inspiration for New Years Eve if you're feeling a bit daring this year~

Did I mention how much I LOVE this dress <3 <3 <3
It just has so many endless possibilities. You can dress it down for a casual day out in town or glam it up a bit as I did here with some gold accessories and BAM~ Goddess of the dark anyone? If you're struggling to shop for your little black dress or just looking to add one to your collection this is the one for you! It just flows so nicely and the feel of it is just so lovely.

Combat boots and I were a match made in heaven~

I hope you enjoyed today's post and that you have a lovely New Years Eve
Be safe!

Feel free to post any ideas you have for next post! I'm thinking of doing a "Christmas Haul", but I'm not too sure yet. Until then I bid you an adieu and a safe night~

Oh yeah! One more thing before I forget! I'll fix the theme/background as soon as I can (as soon as I figure out how)! I know it can be such an eyesore >__<

Sincerely,

NEVERFORGOTTEN
